Our Story

Featherstone Group (formerly known as Featherstone Support Services) began serving rural First Nations in 2013. At that time, owner and CEO Jill Featherstone began empowering others through her original workshop Awaken the Spirit. As a Counsellor turned University Professor, Jill recognized the gap in accessible and empowering education options for individuals living on reserve. She also noticed few Indigenous people leading this work in communities. This fuelled her to continue growing her company to continue empowering individuals across Canada.

Thankful for ongoing support and ask from rural First Nations, Featherstone Wellness was born as a way to expand on Jill's previous work. Featherstone Wellness will continue to expand it's program offerings, with Jill's original goal in mind, to empower individuals through holistic accessible learning opportunities.

As individuals and communities, we carry deep experiential knowledge;  wisdom that is often overlooked by others, and sometimes even by ourselves. But our knowledge holds power. When we take the time to truly listen to one another, we open the door to shared learning and connection. Each of us has something valuable to offer the world, and through education, whether through training, lived experience, or formal schooling, we are given continuous opportunities to grow and expand that knowledge.

At Featherstone Wellness, we are excited to grow with you.
